Technical
Offenses
Law 12 lists 8 technical offenses. However, there are many

awarded for each of the eight in this Law are taken from the
spot of the infraction. In all cases, as with the penal fouls,
the ball must be in play and the act must be committed against
an opponent and on the field of play.
