Why do referees
need recertification?
As in any
profession, ongoing education is the key to
staying abreast of changes. Referees are
required to be recertified every year at the
grade level they referee. Many
opportunities exist for recertification in July
and August. Fewer opportunities exist in
January, February or March. To find out
