Purpose: To develop player's ability to shoot in turning situations.

Procedure: The game takes place from the width of the penalty area up to the half-way line where two small goals are placed on the sides of the area. The squad is split up into three teams with one goalkeeper; one team act as ball retrievers. The attacking team have two players who are restricted to the penalty box - the other attackers are not allowed inside. The two defenders stand inside the goal area while the others play outside the penalty box. The out-field players attempt to play the ball to one of their colleagues in the box who, in turn, tries to turn and shoot or lay the ball for his team-mate to shoot first time. One of the defenders may leave the penalty area to make a challenge when the ball enters the box, while the other blocks the goal. If the defenders win the ball they attempt to play it through one of the small goals.

Development:
(a) The coach can impose the condition that the two attackers are only allowed one pass inside the penalty box.
(b) Initially, the coach can restrict the defenders so that only one can challenge the two attackers - the other must stand on the goal line with the goalkeeper.
(c) The coach can award extra points for the use of difficult skills which result in a goal, e.g. volleys or half-volleys, shots on the turn, and "bicycle" kicks.
